High profile interim assignments:
Request:
European procurement director started off a change in organization in terms of processes and tools. This new way of working resulted in on-boarding of new Associate Director for indirect spend on a European level. However there was a gap in timing between the arrival of the new and the departure date of the previous AD.
Solution:
Value Republic proposed a senior profile to take over the operational duties for a period of 3 months and to support further progress on the change program. Key deliverable was to support on-boarding of new Associate Director.

The Company installed a new global role, VP indirect procurement, to leverage its international scale and maximize the available expertise that was scattered through the organization. The new VP had the challenge to move the organization from a geographically focused operation model to an expertise driven model whilst enlarging the coverage by procurement.
Solution:
Value Republic suggested a senior team of consultants to support the VP in defining and rolling out the new organization and processes whilst leveraging on a planned ERP roll out. To enable a self funding principle, Value Republic proposed a combination with 2Source activities enabling immediate savings on the spend in scope, leaving funding available for recruiting new FTE to populate the new organization.

At one of the leading telecom operators in Belgium, they had an issue with the follow up of purchase orders and wanted to have a reporting that allowed them to pinpoint where it went wrong so they could act on it and improve it.
Solution:
we have revisited the entire Procure to Pay process, starting with a root cause analysis through a PDCA (Problem, DO, Check, Act) analysis. This has been the base for a next stream of workgroups looking at different elements of the process in the area of Business Users, Procurement and Accounts Payable. A dashboard has been developed in order to track the evolution and improvement of the main KPI’s, providing management a high level and individual view on company and department performance.
Case Pre & Post Merger Consultancy
Request:
A leading, global private equity and investment advisory firm was in the process of taken over a number of assets from a large multinational organization when it called on our services to support them in identifying the risk as well as the next steps with the current supplier base.
Solution:
For each of the spend areas we analyzed the existing contracts in order to identify the supply risk from a change of ownership perspective. We also assisted the company in developing a sourcing plan for the different categories as well as provided supplier market information and benchmarked the existing contracts against industry and market standards in terms of price and general conditions.
