Capability Building Program

In our capability building program we benchmark the organization both internally and  externally in order to bring it to the next level. 

A typical capability building program looks as follow:
 
1. Mapping of the ‘AS-IS’ situation.
Making an inventory of your current procurement organization, the people, skill set, objectives, ….
 
2. Definition of the ‘TO-BE’ situation
Based on a thorough analysis of your structure, the skill set level of every individual, the objectives and challenges ahead, and a roadmap will be built for the organization and each individual.
Additionally, the organizational model (matrix, category, spend, hybrid, geography, central lead, …) will be reviewed and discussed.
 
3. Closing the gap
Based on the analysis made, a full program to close the gap will be developped. In order to bring the organization and every individual up to the required skill set level, there are different approaches possible and the program will be a mix of the following:
- Classroom training. These courses can be customized or you can take part in our existing offer. (See our procurement academy below)
- Coaching in group or on an individual level
- On the job training 
- On-line training.

Value Republic offers internet-based trainings that can be done whenever or wherever you want. The e-learning trainings have been developed with very advanced and well founded techniques, based on scientific research (University of Hasselt). The learning through animations turn this into an advanced learning experienced with an increased level of information retention and understanding.

Currently, there are 4 modules available:
- World-class Tendering (5 courses)
- Winning Negotiations ( 6 courses) 
- Legal issues in Purchasing ( 5 courses)

4. Check
After the implementation of the new/upgraded organization, we will do another gap-analysis to make sure that the gap has been closed and to pin-point potential  areas of attention.  Every individual will receive a personalized growth passport, with a clear path of development.
